The Quatuor Anches Hantées - or Anches hantées clarinet quartet- is an acclaimed French ensemble, the first clarinet quartet prizewinner of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and laureate of the Fondation Banque Populaire.
Since 2001, Quatuor Anches Hantées are paving the way by making a large repertoire with transcriptions of emblematic scores, revisiting with panache works for piano, string quartets or symphonic pieces... The group is also commissioning works to young composers such as Philippe Hersant, Richard Dubugnon or Guillaume Connesson.
This formation, out of the ordinary by nature, earned its prestige before various audiences and can be presented as the leading group of its kind in France. Creative, versatile and well-known for a lively sense of humour, the four musicians of the Quatuor Anches Hantées reflect the best of the French touch classical music.
The Quatuor Anches Hantées is a must for radio and television programs in Europe. To name a few, the musicians recently participated to the « Zygel Academy » on the french TV Channel France 2 and to the program « Stars of tommorrow » on french/german TV channel ARTE with Rolando Villazon.
