Annual Piano Festival in New York, NY
FORTISSSIMO is Zürcher Gallery’s annual mini-piano festival, held each spring (between April and May) in our New York gallery space. This festival spans multiple evening and presents an intimate concert experience by acclaimed pianists of genres varying from modern, classical, jazz, and new music. Zürcher Gallery has been offering its space to New York City musicians since 2011, accruing an extensive roster of performances, with FORTISSSIMO becoming a part of our program since 2022.
Past FORTISSSIMO performers include Uri CAINE, Han CHEN, Sylvie COURVOISIER, Marilyn CRISPELL, Taka KIGAWA, Alexis MARCELO, Juliette MAZERAND, Vadim NESELOVSKYI, Marilyn NONKEN, Ursula OPPENS, Matthew SHIPP, Adam TENDLER, and Dan TEPFER.
Zürcher Gallery has partnered with Steinway & Sons and Yamaha Artist Services to make this festival possible.
